I am Todd Curzon, Managing Partner at Assured Leadership Concepts. For over a decade, I have worked with newly promoted VPs and Directors at mid-market and enterprise companies who are navigating the most critical transition of their career.
The pattern is always the same: a high-performer gets the promotion, then realizes within 90 days that the playbook that earned them the title will not work at this level. Strategic thinking replaces tactical execution. Cross-functional influence replaces direct control. Executive presence becomes the currency that matters most.
I created the LEAP Assessment and coaching methodology specifically for this moment. It is built on three pillars — Strategic Clarity, Team Leadership, and Executive Presence — because those are the three areas where the gap between "promoted" and "performing" is widest.
My approach is direct, practical, and grounded in real experience. No theory for theory's sake. Every framework I teach has been tested with leaders who have too much on the line to waste time on ideas that do not work.
